AUTHORIZED WARRANTY for YAMAHA® PROMOTIONAL FUN BIKE CAMERA
Yamaha Motor Australia PTY, Ltd. ("Yamaha") is the exclusive authorized importer and distributor of Motao CV03 HD Camcorders in Australia and New Zealand. Supplied exclusively as Yamaha® Fun Bike Camera YMA-CV03Y-00, the camera is promotional
and not sold as a standalone Yamaha product. Additionally the Motao CV03 HD Camcorder has no affiliation with any other Yamaha divisions in its manufacture or distribution. The Yamaha Fun Bike Camera meets applicable product safety standards. Only the Yamaha® Authorized warranty service center can provide service and repairs. WHO IS COVERED?
Warranty is exclusive to those who participated in Yamaha’s Fun Bike Camera Promotion. The Yamaha® HD Camcorder is a bundled free gift of the Fun Bike promotion. Yamaha® HD Camcorders purchased from any person or any retailer (whether via the Internet, or otherwise) will not be covered by Yamaha’s warranties, and the Australia service center will not repair such products under warranty.
WARRANTY COVERAGE
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Yamaha Australia (“Distributor”) and Motao International Ltd. Taiwan (Manufacturer) warrants to the authorized recipient of the Yamaha HD Camcorder through the Fun Bike Camera Promotion that for a period of one year from receipt the Yamaha HD Camcorder package, it will be free from defects in materials and workmanship when properly installed and used for its intended purpose and in its intended operating environment. This warranty does not apply cameras that have been altered, repaired, modified, damaged or destroyed by accidents by any intentional, reckless or negligent acts of any party. The warranty does NOT cover water damage due to use underwater without its waterproof protective cover. In the event of a defect, contact the Original Yamaha® Authorized Dealer or Australia Service Center. Yamaha HD Camcorder Owner shall ship and bear the cost of shipping the Product to the Service center in Australia or the original Yamaha Authorized dealer. Upon receipt of the defective Camcorder, Yamaha is exclusive in determining a remedy and the entire liability under this warranty will be for the manufacturer at their option to repair or replace the product inclusive providing refurbished Camcorders. Yamaha does not warrant against loss of any data (including data stored on the 8GB micro SDcard provided in this promotion package), and assumes no liability for such loss.
DISCLAIMER:
The owner or user of Yamaha’s Promotional Fun Bike Camera assumes all liability, and as such releases Yamaha and the Manufacturer from any liability, for any accident, injury, damage, death, loss, illegal activity or any other claim that may occur resulting from or during use of the Product, whether or not such use is foreseeable by Yamaha or Manufacturer.
